A logistics control tower is a centralized view of shipment activity across transporters, lanes and customers. Instead of checking each transporter’s portal separately, logistics and customer service teams work from one dashboard.
A useful control tower does more than display data: it should identify which shipments need attention right now — delayed, out of TAT, on hold, or missing documentation — rather than showing an undifferentiated list of every shipment in motion.
The strongest version of this idea is not "more data" but "the right attention": surfacing exceptions before they become customer escalations, and giving teams the information they need to act on them.
